So, for a quick check, lets say i take the converter inspection cover off, rotate the converter so as the drain plug is at BDC (6 O'clock) , balance weights either side of teh drain plug. then take a look at the harmonic balancer, where should the counter wieght be on the converter, 6 O'clock as well??? this will be an easy check, just need to confirm location basically, with a timing light, all the timing marks show correct so I'm guessing the balancer is in ok condition, not slipped etc.
