« on: April 23, 2015 - 10:46:54 PM »
My 70 cuda I just got has all reverse thread wheel studs. My other 70 cuda doesn't have these. Why would you do that?

Someone swapped out the left hand threads on one car.  ALL 1970 came with right and left hand threads.

Mine only has it on the drivers side.  that is normal? My 70 chally didn't have reverse at all.

My 70' Cuda was changed prior to my ownership, it has all righthand threads but my 68' Charger has lefthand threads on just the rear drivers side tire which I plan on changing out.

70 was the last year , up until then all Mopars had left thread on the left side & right on the right side . 71 everything went to right all the way around

This is normal, as pointed out by others. Your challenger was changed over prior.

Don't throw out the studs if you change them out.  No one makes a LH stud anymore.  Some restoration guy will want them.

Yes, it ended in 1970.  Your 73 was changed at some point.  My October 72 built 73 has all RH.

I think Barry Washington posted the factory TSB that stated when LH lug nuts were stopped.
