None of these Challengers should be labeled as 'rare' in my opinion.
It would take little or no effort to find one for sale at any given time.
To me a rare car is defined by a car that would require significant time and effort to simply locate an existing example. Then try and find one for sale.  These cars would be in the single digit or very low two digit production numbers for model and engine.
Rare is such an over used term used by sellers to try and separate their car from the rest. And even my definition of rare does not automatically equate to significant value.
So is the owner of the green Challenger assembling how far for shipping?
What is the engine and transmission condition?

From what I understand the car is supposed to be rolling on it's own wheels by now, not sure if the drivetrain is set in place or not...The motor I believe is a good core, whatever that means.
Dean was looking into shipping cost to my door because he had an interested party in buying it and having me finish the assembly, but I'm guessing that fell through... :banghead: I'm thinking shipping here would be $3K or so ? :dunno:

This ones not available anymore. The white trim is growing on me already. The 472 Stage V out of my Coronet is going into this one, everything else will be stock except I'm leaving in the subframe connectors. Not a shaker car so it's coming off, bulge hood is going on.

Congratulations Sheldon, that is an awesome looking Challenger and you will have it tearing up the streets and tack in no time.
I would leave the shaker as a short guy like me has a hard time seeing over the Rallye hood.

Thanks! I thought about leaving the shaker but then I thought about gathering all the parts, the fuel overheating I'm fighting through with the orange car and trying to find a correctly shaped shaker bonnet and grilles. The repro bonnets and grilles just look awful to me and I didn't want to spring for a factory bubble. It will kind of contrast the orange car too, different stripes, hoods etc. Hardly wait to start cleaning parts, coating them and bolting it together. Wife won't see me for another few months.

I have the title and dash with VIN here, the car will be in the garage around noon Saturday I hope. I just have to pull the modur out of red and we'll be switching them.
Then lots to do, fasteners and bits to platers, clean, clean clean, assemble. You'd have it done in a week Alan.

Thank you: I've only had it two weeks and I wasn't going to start on it for awhile but I'll have the engine/trans/k-member in it when I get back from a business trip in a week or so, Dana, tank, taillights are in it already.
