Have you read the Ramchargers Book ?
It was not just the Hemi  ,  Hoover built all the engines & they beat everyone with no budget compared to the competition , the whole group was amazing . I will join you at the dragstrip in the next life !
AT least he lived to see the 50 year anniversary of the Hemi
Incedible man & A terrible loss RIP  :angelwings:

RIP Mr Hoover.  I had the pleasure of attending a seminar put on by many of the original Ramchargers including Mr Hoover this past March at the Indy Cylinder Head Trade show and swap meet  in Indianapolis.  He gave a really good talk and then I saw him the next morning out shopping in the swap meet.  I never would have guessed he would be gone now.  I did get him and the rest of the Ramchargers to sign their book for me.
