problems with wilwood brakes hitting valve stem.

I like them better than drilling and plugging a hole.  If I drill the wheel is chromed and I would expect I would bugger it up some.  I didn't know something like this existed.  Nothing like a problem to open you eyes.

I don't like the idea of wheel spacers but if you only need an 1/8" to clear, that might be an option.

It would take a 1/2" of wheel spacer to the valve stem far enough away to clear.  As to the second question yes those are the ones that are flat.  I ordered a set off ebay for half the cost of those.  I think they are the best solution until I loose the screw in stem.

Flush mount stems?     keepin up with the filler tube would be a pain.

I used these for quite a while until they started leaking, and they are a pain to re tighten ,you have to remove the tire to get a wrench in there ,they would work for this case, but I like the 45 degree angle posted here, that might work or as mentioned drill out the out side and put the stem on the out side.

Do you think putting a clear silicone on the inside might keep them from leaking?  What do you think about drilling thru the chrome part of the rim?
