73 340 4-speed Cuda *SOLD*
« on: May 03, 2015 - 04:37:43 PM »
Car is sold.

73 340 4-speed. All numbers match, original 3.55 sure grip rear. Factory AC car. The engine is complete minus the original valve covers. Correct air cleaner, carb, manifolds, pulleys, brackets, compressor, etc. Fender Tag and two sheets. The car has had Amd quarter skins, trunk extensions and outer wheel houses. trunk is original with a few pin holes but solid. I replaced the fire wall but retained the upper cowl with the numbers. Correct numbers on the rad support as well.

The car is a rolling body right now with lots of extra parts that need restored. I have 2 extra dash assemblies, one a pretty nice 3 speaker. The paint is Dupont croma base with SPI universal clear. I give the paint a 7 out of 10. A color sand and buff would bring that up to an 8. The base is a little light in spots but looks fantastic in the daylight. I did wet sand the first 3 coats of clear with 600 and applied 3 more coats so there is plenty to buff out. The parts I know that are missing are the windshield, original valve covers, and gas tank. Also things like brake and fuel lines that were going to get replaced anyways. Nice grille as well but it does need two holes from fog lights filled and repainted. No breaks or cracks.  New parts I have are the vinyl top, wheel opening moldings, The mirrors are painted and ready to go.

I was building this as a nice driver but between work and school I don't have the time to work on it.  It is rolling on the suspension and steering, and the engine is setting in it . Seats and dash are installed, and I have most parts boxed and ready to go. There are A LOT of extra parts as a Challenger and Cuda were parted and I have 2 or 3 of many parts.

$14,000 to a member here, I will post elsewhere in a week. PM me please. Thanks

Congratulations on both the sale and the Roadrunner, very beautiful Mopar . But really is this the original paint? At least looking at the photo seems like it was painted yesterday. The guy you bought it must have had a time capsule instead of a garage, amazing.
