Hit another milestone!
« on: May 04, 2015 - 04:59:11 PM »
Went out today in the hardtop and happen to look down at the right time and have a camera sitting next to me!  80K doesn't seem like much and I assume that to be original mileage but not sure . . . . bought the car in 1982, 9 years old at the time, was sitting in a garage and the owner had been drag racing the car.  I got it with the odometer reading 47K . . . 33 years later and it just hit 80K.   :screwy:   I guess someone could of put 147K on the car in 9 years but I doubt it.  When I bought the car, it had 4.11 gears, that would be interesting  . . . driving over 100K with 4.11's!   :grinno:  Interesting that I have owned the car for 33 years and have only put 33K on it!     :eek7:

A couple pictures from today!

Cool update.
Is that considered a big milestone or small?

Bought my 74 Challenger in 83 with 185,000 miles on it. 33 years later got around 240k. Sounds (and feels) about right.

Hmmm I just finished high school and bought this my last year right before graduation and to be 9 would of been quite the task accomplishment, good thought though . . .  :2thumbs: lol the car was 9 years old!
