70 Cuda A-Pilliars trims
« on: May 05, 2015 - 02:08:06 PM »

Would'nt you know it  :banghead:
I'm ready to pull the trigger to order some replacement A-pilliar covers (trims) and I notice Hoover is stating that there's don't fit so great. Like a 1" gap at the bottom common to the dash pad  :pullinghair:

Who makes some decent trim pieces?  :clueless:

Thanks for the help

The manufacture of Metros door panels were supposed to be working on A pillar trim....maybe Dave from Roseville will chime in with an update.
The ones available now are crappy, but better then nothing....You can still find good used originals every once and a while :2cents:

I have no experience with aftermarket A-pillars, BUT you should be able to lift up on the back of the dash assembly before you tighten up the two bolts in the kick panel area.  That should take up any gap between the A-pillars and the dash pad.  The dash doesn't have to sit all the way down on the two kick panel bolts.  The dash frame is slotted so there is some adjustment there.

Can anyone help with the name of the piece of plastic trim that runs from the top of the A pillar trim and runs along the top of the window opening (that sits in front of the roof liner)? Its about 3 feet long and shaped like a banana. I cant find what its called or who sells them. Mine are really beat up and i want to replace them. Thanks.

I have Accuform pieces and they are too short!
