I would check to see if you can fly into john wayne airport.  pretty sure that would be closer than bob hope and lax to where you are going

Flights depend also on where you are coming from, you may not have many options. LAX is a disaster to fly in/out of so I would avoid it if possible.  John Wayne (Santa Ana/Orange County) is a very easy to get in/out so if possible fly in here.  Ontario is also a good airport and is not too much further.  Bob Hope is a very small local airport and not a lot of flights, but also easy.  San Diego is a bit far but doable if it is on your list of to-do's.  Laguna/Dana Point and Carlsbad are very nice towns to visit and not as far as San Diego.  Carlsbad has a great beach, very cool beach town.  I would love to retire here some day.

Menifee is close to me.  If it was me, I would fly into Ontario CA and then you catch Interstate 15 (right next to the airport) and Menifee is south about 30 miles. Next would be San Diego, but it is about 60 miles from Menifee, lastly would be John Wayne, also 60 miles of bad traffic to get to Menifee. It may also depend on what you plan to do while out here.  Bob Hope and LAX....nope way to far from there.  You could also look at Palm Springs airport about 50 miles...but some time we get better prices flying into or from there.

PM me if you want my phone number so we can talk?

If he is a SEAL then his training was in San Diego, lots to do and see around there.  It sounds like the wedding will be in Menifee.

Ont looks like the airport of choice from Baltimore for us so that what ill be working on.  Yes,  he is finishing seal training now but the fiancé lives in Menifee.  Most likely a whirlwind trip, out Thursday, wedding Friday return Saturday unless I can get off work for an extra day or 2,  but where so busy right now.   Would like to have an extra day or two but if anything it will be nice to see him and a few of the other academy classmates that will be there.  Something about a military wedding that's special.  especially when the bride doesn't know shes going to walk under the crossed swords and when she passes the best man he taps her butt with his and says welcome to the Navy ma'am
