Topcat,
I am with you.  I can't tell you how many compliments I get BECAUSE its NOT plum crazy, tor-red, top banana, sublime, etc.  I have yet to see another e-body in B2 or B3 at a car show.  What is surprising is that folks do know what the color is!  "WOW, is that Ice Blue?  I have never seen one!"  And with the black accents, and argent tail panel, the color just pops.

Well, ever the contrarian, mine is going back to black; just like it was made in, with the black gator roof and black guts. I'm sure I'll come to regret this- when I'm spending hours blocking it straight. LOL  :pullinghair:

Just curious, because I really haven't seen it on anything up close, but wasn't that Winchester kind of the first flip/flop color? I.E. Changes color in different light?

Ice Blue B2, B3 do it as well.

Different brands of paint can all have differences in the color.  Even different batches of the same brand can have differences.  The best way to get the correct color is to do "test sprays" and match it to an unworn area of original paint.

My Challenger was painted with Spies Hecker.  I matched a test spray to original paint that was under the jack instruction deal.  I got some PPG touchup paint from a local paint supplier.  The PPG is lighter then the Spies Hecker.

Mopar wnet further with colors than any other MFG , they had awesome color selections with something for everyone ,
there were a lot of flip colors , Curious Yellow is one of the most dramatic for changing color

CUDA-JAS - I like it! It has the best of both colors! :2thumbs: Gives it a nice '80's retro look!
Cheers!
