AAR Hood

I just pulled the trigger on a YO AAR hood given the 30% coupon for Mother's Day. I'm going to wrap it 3M carbon fiber auto wrap. I'll do the fender tops to make it look like the AAR, but modernized. Any recommendations or things to consider?

I do currently have pins in my rallye hood. I have the AAR hood dales cuda shop trim rings, etc saved for purchase

AAR's had a 6 barrel, not 4.  Ben has the proper air cleaner (http://www.shakerhood.com/products.php?id=CudaParts).  Note, the 440 air cleaner base is different and will not function properly with the scoop, and there is just a slight difference in the top but it is not critical unless you are building a 100 pts car. Here is a pic first of the 440 base and then the correct 340 base.

Hybrid Fiberglass Solutions was making a 4-barrel base and lid.  That's what I want to run on my Dart.  The owner has been MIA lately on the boards so I don't know if he's still making them or not.

sweet, thanks for the advice and links. i'm going to stick with the 4Bl, but want the 6 pack look. I was thinking of not even running the springs at all and just use a hood pole or some bent metal stock to hold the hood open. Will my existing rallye pins work with the AAR hood? I imagine they are in the same location.
