I really don't think there is anything being built today that is going to increase in value. In 10, maybe 20 years the way things are going it might be agains't the law to drive a car that burns gas   :stomp:  And at the rate that they are electronicalating cars, what works today is history tomorrow.  None of this new stuff impresses my at all, but I'm Old School. Heck there trying to pass laws where you can't even open the hood and work on your own car.   :stomp:   :villagers:

$1000 in 1983 is equal to $2,416.57 in today's inflated dollars. so the $15K Hemi Challenger would be equal to @ $37K today   :eek7:

gotta keep in mind most all these cars are about 50 years old now.
Very hard to predict what will be valuable 50 years from now!
Never know what the state of the ecomony will be, or
even if the US will still be here!

Told me he would let me know when he was gonna sell it, then let it go for $4000 when I wasn't looking!!  grrrrrrr!

A guy in my town bought a 62 fuelie in 1970.  Parked it one day, and
the thing burned to the ground!  Gas leak on the FI unit!

that reminds me cudabob, my dads best friend had a 66 or 67 shelby gt350 he bought new sitting in the garage for around 15 years, one day his girlfriend found out he was cheating on her so she doused the car with gas and lit it up, it was damaged pretty bad so he sold it and i think the guy that bought it eventually restored it
