After getting my first Mopar and joining this online community a couple of years ago, all I find myself interested in now are Mopars!  My buddies say I have gone to the dark side, but something about these cars excites me like no other muscle cars! Just love everything about them!

Constantly messing with wheel/tire combos.  Currently running Torq Thrust 2's on the 70 Chally.  17" 235 on front, 275 on back.

Looks really good. Personally I like black centers on the wheels but each to his/her own; that car looks great as shown. Reminds me of my 2010 which has similar wheels when new, I promptly painted the centers black and left a chrome ring on the outside.

Strange thing happened last week.  When I was just about to turn off the Challenger after about a 30 mile round trip, I heard what sounded like something coming loose in the valve cover!!  I opened up the valve cover and found the adjusting bolt on the rocker arm had sheared off!  I am not sure if this is just a fluke weak part or something else wrong.  I checked the push rod and it was perfectly straight and did not show any signs of wear or discoloration on the ends and the rocker seemed fine.  The engine ran GREAT up to the point I turned it off and heard the noise.  I am planning on taking my borescope and looking at the #2 Cylinder to see if there is anything unusual inside.  Hopefully, just a broken adjusting bolt and a quick replacement and valve lash adjustment and I'm back on the road...hopefully!

I had this happen on my Hemi.  I am not sure who made the rockers, but I had two shear off.  I made a run in stand to test firer the motor.  Everything was fine but an oil leak.  So I removed the head and replaced gasket.  Long story short, after third or fourth time adjusting valves, two of the adjusters broke clean off.  Definitely not over torqued.  I ordered a complete set from Mancini.  I recommend you replace the others.
