Hey Jim, I only wish I had the time, talent and patience you guys put into your cars!! I just make them nice enough for me and the family to enjoy, and drive the heck out of them
I have a 1969 Mach 1 that I purchased when I was 13 for $550 with my lawn mowing money(I still have the car) and my son has been riding in it since he was a baby. He has always talked about getting a 69 Mach 1 and working on it like I did. A couple of months ago I picked one up from a buddy that needs a lot of work, but is complete. My son actually purchased it with his own money (he has had a small business stringing lacrosse sticks for the past 3 years) and he and I work on it a little at a time hopefully to one day end up with a nice car for him to drive, but more importantly making memories that will last he and I a lifetime!
