It just doesn't get any better than that.   :woohoo:

A 69 Mustang. The only Ford I've ever thought I'd like to own. A co-worker has a 428cj '69 Mustang that has sat still in a garage for the last 15 years but he won't sell.

I have a '69 Chevelle that I put some halo headlights in a while back...figured I would take them off the Chevelle and put them on the Challenger to see how they looked.  At first, I wasn't convinced, but functionally, they are a ton brighter than what was on there before...will probably leave them on for now.  Also fixed the reverse light...it's the small victories with these old cars that brings a smile to my face :)

Hey Mark...definitely using relays!  I saw the thread a while back and made the mods.

I picked up a dual quad setup, but not sure if I'm going to put it in.  The car runs great as it is, but the dual quads would be pretty cool.  I may just try it and if I don't like it I'll switch back.  I don't really know the pros and cons, but I figure the only way to see if I like it is to try it :)

Intake all painted up!  Going to rebuild the carbs and try and install this weekend.

I rebuilt both carbs and setup the progressive linkages and return spring.  I just need to figure out what fuel lines and air cleaners I want to use.  It came with an air filter, but not sure if I'm going to use it.

I was able to mess with the Challenger a bit this week.

I took some wheels off another car and put them on to see how they would look/fit.  They are Boss 338's.
Fronts:  18x8.5 245/45/18
Rears:   18x9.5 275/40/18

They fit really nicely with no rubbing or necessary mods!  I like the look.  May lower the rear of the car and drive it like this for a while.

I also got a dual quad air cleaner for the setup...hopefully I will have time to put it on this weekend!

I am an old school kind of guy growing up in the 80's, but I have a 70.5 Camaro Split bumper RS/Z28 that I made into a Restomod and really like it.  After changing out the wheels on the Challenger and driving is around today, I couldn't stop looking at it! :)  I am really liking the new look!!
