Brake Booster/Master Cylinder Kit Year One

I'm trying to get my 73 Chally out of a 10 year hibernation and the brakes have zero response. So I'm leaning heavy on the Master Cylinder as the culprit. I'm probably going to order the Year One conversion kit DSR70 which is the both the booster and cylinder. Has anyone had luck with this? Or any better recommendations or advise, does it provide more power than stock? I also want to refurbish the old equipment at my convenience if it's worth it. This kit is $500, the electric powered one looks awesome but unfortunately money is a factor.

I am running that MBM brake booster combo on my 69 Charger RT with no problems.  Works very well and was much better than my power drum setup originally.  Personally I do not like the master cylinders that come with that kit.  I've had a lot of faulty master cylinders that are the 1970 only style  I am not sure if Centric brakes are making all them or everyone is rebranding them. I've had more than one leak from the plug on the bottom and piston issues pushing the rear brake fluid.  I even tested a few at the supplier with them and they were surprised.  Maybe it was a bad batch at the time.

If you want to replace your existing power brake booster/master cylinder why not go to NAPA or something and buy the correct re-manufactured set-up....The one you pictured is NOT correct for an E Body.

I know its not correct but Year One says it fits E Body's. I think the Booster might be a double diaphragm that's why it looks different. Which might make it better than stock I don't know. They don't give much description in there link.

  Why not just buy an original style and save a few dollars? They are remanufactured original boosters. Do you need firewall bracket and pedal linkage?

Well, what I ended up doing was bleeding the brakes which seemed to fix the problem. I sent the year one unit back, got my money back with no hassles. And I also made an ultra boring YouTube video about the whole situation. My YouTube name is Mopar_Smith. Eventually my challenger videos should get better.
