Thanks for the positive feedback.

Today I was thinking of installing the engine and transmission into the car.  However when I lifted up the engine and transmission, transmission fluid spilled out of the tailshaft, damn.  So I had to get a plug for the transmission because I threw away the one that came with the TKO-600, didn't think I needed it 2 years ago.  Well I was wrong!

I ordered a transmission plug set from O'Relily tonight.  Should be in by Thursday, hopefully I can install the engine without leaking fluid!!!

Finally installed the engine tonight.  It took awhile, ended up knocking the transmission tail plug out, transmission fluid all over the floor....grrrrrr!  But at least it is in!

Thanks guys.  I appreciate it!!  I think I counted up about 10 steps I needed to do before I start painting, this was step one. Hopefully by October there will paint on the Body and I spend the rest of the winter just assembling the car and have it ready for spring.

Currently waiting for 4 gauges to come in so I can finish the dash.  Classic Industries had a 30% of sale, so I saved enough that I practically got one gauge free!

I really appreciate the positive feedback  guys. Progress is slow at times. Ive been working on the dash to make it ready for install. Had a few gauges to replace and figure out the wiring some more. There was also some spots on the dash that need repainted. So i will be doing that tomorrow hopefully.

Started putting together my smoked quarter glass assembly together.  The photos show the original glass and the new smoked out glass.  If anyone wants to know where I got it from let me know.  I find the card from the guy that does it.  This is the second time for getting class from him.  Both times it was the glass for a whole car and he did a great job on the parts.  Next step, I have some parts coming tomorrow for the dash so I should be able to finish that up tomorrow.

Been making some progress.  Interior is getting closer to being done.  Been working mostly on the engine bay now.  I hope to do a break in on the cam in about a week.  All the spark plug wires are temporary for the first fire.  Once the cam is broke in, then I'll put the TTi headers on and install the final spark plug wires so I know how to route them with the headers installed.  Running into a air cleaner to hood clearance issue right now, but I have a 1-5/8 drop base on it it's way now, so hopefully that will help gain more clearance.  Slow but sure making progress.  After the cam break in.  Then I'll install the Fr/Rr Wshld and install the doors, fenders, hood and trunk lid and set them to their final fit and finish before I paint the car, can't wait!
