I may have missed something in the thread and it may have already been answered. How do you plan on keeping water out of the trunk area when washing it with the holes drilled in.

The stock mounting location of the ducktail left a larger gap than I preferred between the spoiler and the end of the trunk. I mounted mine further back. There is a center indent on the spoiler that helps line it up to a degree. Ordered mine from dale's cuda shop and measured about 15 times before I drilled. Came out really good and flows nice!

I have another question for everyone.  I was bolting up the front bumper tonight for a trial fit.  I was wondering who out there has tucked their front bumper closer to the grill and fenders. 

I was going to slot the whole more in the bumper horns (not sure what to call them) so that I can push the bumper back more.  I'm looking for any suggestions from anyone who has done this.  Any photos are greatly appreciated to.

I have done my Cuda, but not a Challenger. For the Cuda it was not as simple as slotting the brackets and pushing the bumper in more. I had to alter the brackets quite significantly. I have read other threads on here where people say they just slot the brackets, and to use the earlier brackets (70-72) which I did (72 I believe) but it still required some alteration to make work. Thanks for the link 70chall440.  That looks pretty good.

Yeah I figured that it wouldn't be just as easy as slotting the hole.  I already have a slotted hole to begin with, but if I could get an extra 1/2 inch that would really make it look better I think.  I almost considering cutting out a 1/2 inch of material in bumper horns close to the mounting tabs and then re-weld it back together.  That would move the bumper a 1/2 inch closer.

Still looking it over and trying to get a game plan right now.

The only issue with cutting out any material from the brackets is the angle of them which is slightly complex; nothing is straight so when you cut something out, then it will result in things being too wide or narrow. I think the easiest method is cut the horns right behind here they bolt to the bumper, then make a new mounting tab and weld that back onto the bracket horn. Not sure I am explaining this well but I think I might have put pictures of how I did my rear brackets which illustrates better what I am saying.

I realized today that a 72 challenger hood latch wont work for a 70 grill.  Does anyone sell a 70 hood latch? Ive seen entire 70 assemblies for sale, but not the latch itself.
