Hahahaha thanks guys. It's not the end of the thread thank goodness.  Things went as planned, i didnt trip on my wives dress and i didnt pass in church due to overheating with the tux on!!!  I have one helll of a headache though frin drinking too much last night, ugh! But i remember everything so that's  good!!

Here are some photos from the test fitting of the grill.  Overall, not a bad fit.  Had to give it some persuasion in some areas, but it worked.  Now it will be removed and at some point it will be painted black, maybe a satin black would look good. 

Here is a separate question.  Does the front license plate bracket from a 1972 dodge challenger work on a 1970 front bumper? The reason I ask is because the 72 plate bracket has to holes that it bolts to the front bumper I think.  The 70 bumper only has one bolt hole in the center so I'm not sure if there is a 70 license plate bracket or does my 70 challenger bumper from AMD not had the correct 2 holes to bolt it to it.

Finally getting back to work on the car....  I had some free time the other day and decided to take the plates out of the scoops and put in a wire mesh ones to allow more air into the engine bay.  Not really sure if it helps horsepower or not, I'm doubting it, but I like the looks a lot better.

The mesh is left over from a roof gutter that I cleaned up and painted.

I like that a lot.
I will be doing something similar with mine. Opened up a little more with the upper half of a plenum attached on the underside of hood. That will seal to the lower half of one on my turbos. 
 Nope no rain driving here also.

Thanks! Yes i wont be driving in the rain either. I just need to watch it when im washing my car.

Have to go on the road for work tomorrow and friday, but Saturday im hoping to bolt the hood on and get the fit and finish done on it. When that's done, im getting pretty close to actually painting this thing.....if work doesn't get in the way....ugh.

Finally bought my paint today. Going to finish painting the grill today. Hopefully next weekend the green will be flying and I'll have a snakeskin green dodge challenger in the shop!

Finished painting the front grill on Friday.  It turned out ok, not 100% perfect but it will definitely work for the car. 

Now onto prepping the car for paint.  Hopefully I'll get it ready this week.  I have a couple of softball games to go to to watch my daughter play, 3 of them I believe.  It's going to be a busy season!
