Ok, this is a long shot but . . .

I will try anyways.

In 1981, I bought a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE 440-6, auto tranny, 4.10 Dana from a guy in Milwaukee, WI. I have his contact info but he does not recall who he bought the car from. He only had the car about a yr so from 1970-1980 I have no history of this car. The car is under going the long process of restoration and Galen Govier believes the car was sold from a dealership somewhere in the SE corner of Wisconsin, north/northeast corner of Illinois (maybe Chicago). Exterior color is dark burnt orange,  interior color is burnt orange, black vinyl top, black longitudinal stripe. There is a possibility the car was in some sort of an accident between 1970-80 because the driver side door and left front qtr panel are not original to the car. If any of this should ring a bell with anyone, maybe it was your car, or a neighbor's car, or if you have any helpful info, I would love to hear from you. I have already tried WI and IL DMV and no luck with that.

Thanks
