Anyone know frame dimensions 70-71 Challenger?
« on: May 19, 2015 - 02:50:10 AM »
Looked at the FSM for the 70's. It shows some specifications, but it does not show outside to outside of frame rails.

If you happen to have measured the ID to ID/OD to OD of rear frame rail, and front what are the measurements?

Also the 70 Cuda FSM is much clearer and well organized, to include referencing exactly what points to measure from. Any chance I could use those specs on a Challenger, or are they different?

Hi Glovemeister,
You can use the Cuda FSM as it is exactly the same except the overall length, just add 2" to the wheel base and stretch it out to Challenger length.

Brad,

Those are exactly what I had available, but thanks for posting those here. I couldn't link up my copies. I was thinking maybe I was reading it "incorrectly."

Awesome that is real great to know.

Take a look at at the FSM pics that Brad linked. Am I wrong that the Cuda variant is much simpler to understand, with much better measuring instructions?

Or that the available information is much better when you combine what both of them provide? (taking account wheel base situation of course.)

FYI, The "D" measurement on the "Cuda should be around 18"
