offset sway bar links E body to B body diff
« on: May 20, 2015 - 04:04:08 AM »
I just spent the last couple of days fitting the B Body diff to my 73 Cuda, so now with no body mods, I have 15x10 (5 1/2 bs) rims with 295's on the rear all good :2thumbs:. interestingly though, looks like I need about 3* pinion wedge under the spring pads!!!! my tailshaft weight is now hitting my X pipe and with the old E body housing I could jack up the body with the diff hanging and undo the rear uni, now I have to jack up the diff several inches to even come close to getting the uni in the yoke!!
anyway, nothing huge.
I was talking to Brad 70 about offset swaybar links to use the factory E body sway bar on a B body spring reloaction, here are the links I made up with a 1 inch offset. just turned them out of 1/2" solid bar, heated them to shape, should be good!!

That's cool!  Another member here modified the spring brackets to get them to fit.  I've also heard of people bending the sway bar to make them fit.  I like your solution the best.  Good job!
