Ha! Wiring looks really bad but is actually going smooth. The purchased harness is clearly marked as apposed to the pigtails. When all the connections are made and all the branches are zip tied in correct locations I will pull the whole thing out and everything will be neatly wrapped.
TPS wired in (throttle body just set close), crank sensor, Cam sensor and air temp sensor. Half of the delay issue is finding out what the wire color codes are for the factory pigtails I am using.
Flat stock made into crank sensor mount. Drilled several holes for adjustability but ended up slotting two to get it to mount correctly.
As per usual every detail takes longer than anticipated.
Removed unnecessary pieces.
Of course had to go in deeper than I wanted. Intake only had 1/8 NPT available but new temp unit is 3/8. Got creative with the tapered reamers and hand drill. Was able to find sockets that would grab on enough to turn them. The 3/8 opening is shown.
And par for the course, after all that and installing the sending unit it interfered with my custom water neck. So.... I removed the heater hose barb (not shown) from the manifold because it is 3/8 pipe as needed. Also plugged up the water pump outlet. I assume this will not cause any water pump issues. Heater was already removed for now so hoses are also not relavent.
