Did you use the tooth and composite loggers in Tunerstudio to see if you're even getting valid patterns? Does it even read RPM when you crank?
When using someone else's tune file, you need to set all of your particular hardware settings still. Otherwise, trigger angle, phasing, wheel decoder settings,injector size, IAC control and everything else unique to your build could be wrong.
Also, if it is truly a cam signal issue you can simply change your settings to crank only and wasted spark and it should start. If it still doesn't start, you have something else going on.
