70 Rear Quarter Panel Advice
« on: May 24, 2015 - 01:18:36 PM »
AMD is out of stock of 70 challenger Lt side rear full quarters again!  They do have 72 quarters. I was told if the sheet metal marker light area was good on the OEM quarter then I could cut and weld the 70 marker light section onto the new 72 quarter. The other alternative is to purchase a 70 Goodmark quarter panel.  AMD estimates at least 45 days before availability.  Ready for quarter panel now. What is the opinion here?

Try calling a couple of the larger AMD suppliers like Stephen's Performance or Tamraz Parts....some time they might have their own stock. I just bought a set of 70 Cuda fenders off of Tamraz that AMD said they wouldn't have until the end of June. :2cents:

I got a set of Dynacorn panels through Roseville. I paid $382 each by telling them I was from this forum. Aside from the mark light opening having a slight curve at the rear I was quite happy with them. You can pics of them being installed here:

And yeah, I'd just weld the 70 marker outline into the newer style AMD in a nanosecond.
