    Spark Plugs Too Close?

    Just wondering if people are having heat issues with the #3 and #5 plug wires and boots with TTI headers. They seem pretty close.

    I don't have a picture of mine, but no they are not that close.  Mine is a 440 with TTI's

    What size motor do you have?

    I don't have TTI headers but had the same issue. I used socks as added insurance.

    Looks like you have 1/4" all the way around , if the boots are decent quality you should be fine .

    Is it a 340? Looks like your boots are 90*. I used 45*, worked better.

    Thanks for all the input.  Yeah, it's a big block with 440-Source heads.  It's a month away from running, but am trying to cover all bases before anything becomes an issue.  Newest problem is with filling the brake lines.  I'll post my problem on that topic board.
