    For those with stealth heads

    What spark plug should I use? Any recommendations out there?

    WHat does it suggest on the 440 Source site , I think it is a RC or RV plug champion plug

    Source 440 recommended the extended length Champion RC12YC plugs when I bought their heads last year.  They have to be the extended length and not the regular ones.  Source 440 sells them and are the best place to get them.

    That's just it. They say they sell the plugs, but not what they are.

    I run the RC12YC plugs in my stealths or autolite 3924 both were fine got them at wallyworld for cheap no need to use the source for them. :2cents:

    Yup RC12YC plugs straight from 440source, although depending on your header selection it may be actually easier to install because they are longer.

    Just make sure that you get the correct extended length plugs.  I bought a spare set of plugs from Amazon because they were cheaper but they were not the extended length plugs and would not work.  The standard plugs do not go deep enough into the heads to fire correctly.

    Why do you think it is better?
    My only experience with NGK is with my mercury outboard and found it ran better when I switched to equivalent Champions. I only switched because I had a hard time finding the mercury recommended NGK small engine plugs locally.

    Because I've dealt with Chumpions that foul easily for to many years... I refuse to buy their junk...
