My red SE has a white vinyl top, the top on my purple SE is black, really wish both were white.  White just makes certain paint colors look better.

I totally agree guys: That B5 car would be okay with a white top but it looks awesome with the black roof too. When I first got the car I thought it would be more in your face with a black roof and stripes but I've come to really like the white and white and the fender tag or build sheet are always right.

It's all about the contrasts and what draws your eyes first

Looking at the blue one I see the blue car then the black top. Eventually the white stripe. Blue is the dominant color.

Now with the sublime, I envision the black top overpowering the green. Black top then is dominant color that eyes will draw to.
Ya want them to see the paint or the roof?
Now the white stripe is competing with the dominant black roof instead of complimenting the paint and body lines.

That white/white looks cool. Well after almost a year we have a top (wrong colour but we have a top). Trim is buffed and installed, windows were going in today until I discovered missing tracks. So I'm off on a 4 hour rounder tomorrow to get the two missing window tracks I need but the side windows should be in tomorrow and the front and back glued in om Wednesday. I'll be firing it up on the weekend, so it's almost a wrap. Interior is all ready to go in as well.

A few delays but as soon as my wife gets home to help me 2 minutes to drop the windshield in, the car will be at lockup stage. Then tomorrow if I have no trouble installing the assembled SE headliner the car will be complete. I have just enough headliner material to do the sail panels but I want the headliner and moldings in before I touch the sail panels, I have a set of junk REM repros but I'm pretty sure I'll be recovering the originals.

Alan: I don't even care anymore, It's been almost a year, I gave the guy until Sunday to come up with the $25k he owes me and not even a phone call. There are 3 other guys lined up that want to buy it and I don't think I'll sell it if the first guy doesn't come up with the cash anyway. I'm pretty sure I'll be giving the guy some money and the Hemi and I'll keep the car and put in a stock 440 with a single 4 fitech on it and drive it. I'll get some decent photos of it outside tomorrow maybe if I'm in the mood.

New owner took it out of here finally to get a safety on it and insure it. I'm sure glad it's gone as it was too painful to look at it. Going back, it was my plan to sell one Challenger to buy a Viper. I had deals cooking on both cars and when the orange car sold I had also promised this guy I would sell him the green one. So, I had to stick to my word and sold it to him and ended up with zero Challengers. That, I could live with but he took his time paying for it in full and then took his time getting it out of my garage.
I already have plans (and a bunch of nice parts) for my last Challenger though.
