I love the calendar!

:iagree:  projects only calendar... I like that idea  :thinkerg:

That's the reason I haven't submitted mine.  My Cuda needs a lot of work, but for now it's a fun weekend driver, until I can afford to build it the right way.

Well how bout this, a month for best project by vote, a month for best engine compartment by vote, interior, etc. These could be sprinkled in with finished cars. Just a thought.   :thinkerg:

And a thought that I like. I'll keep that in mind.

Ross, is there a way we could put up a banner when it's time to submit images? I'd be happy to make one, but what I'm asking is a) will that be an issue with the sponsors, and b) will it make the site start to look cluttered?

If anyone would like to do the layout and printing of the calendar just let me know. I know there are many talented members here that may like to give it a fresh look.

I was going to mention this. Yes, there's notices, stickies, and threads but for some reason I've still read, in the past, things like:

"I didn't even know there was a calendar. "I didn't know when to submit my picture." "You mean there's a cc.c calendar." etc, etc, etc

By all means, keep it going.

Well.....my project is still ongoing.....it's painted but the restification will never stop. New stuff every year. Unless I get laid off.  :grinyes:
I'd have no problem with a show poodle and a pic of a wreck with tress growing out of it in the same calendar. :2cents:

I would sure like to see it continue.  I usually buy 20 or more and give out to many people associated with the auto industry.  Everyone who I give a calendar to loves them.  Think about how unique these are!

There is one hanging in the Chrysler materials group in Auburn Hills.  One in the Mopar group.  The Chrysler design studio person brought it home to her husband. Ford Design studio guys have two, and I ran out or there would have been three.  GM design person gives it to her father-in-law who loves it.  Guys who manufacture metallic pigments for paints and coatings love them.  There's even one hanging in the Whirlpool color lab!  The ladies there loved it too.  Many more hanging about in industry.

I'm not sure about the sub-categories.  I'm not sure I would get the same reaction with interior pics, engine pics, etc.  But Dave & Judy have always asked for interior, engine compartment, and other pics for fillers.  They could use project pics there as well.  Just my opinion.

"There's no such thing as putting a '70 AAR 'Cuda exactly where you want it. The 'Cuda isn't interested in such things, for they require finesse. Finesse asked the 'Cuda out to dinner once, but the 'Cuda stood it up to go drink beer under an overpass with her hot little sister. As far as this car is concerned, finesse can go stuff itself."
