    72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

    1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

    Does that just work all the time? No monthly fee or something? I'm not savvy to these newfangled parts!

    The only time it doesn't work is in tunnels, etc. They block the GPS signal.  Always free after you buy it.  I had mine converted to GPS.

    Speedhut gps speedo`s have been around for a while.  Works great, very accurate, not in tunnels though.  I had the antenna mounted in the centre of the dash, right against the windshield.  Worked fine.

    GPS offers very accurate speed, but too high tech stuff to install in these cars IMHO. Anyway, deosn't it have to search for satellites in the beginning? I mean starting your cars and taking off you won't have signal for a while. But hey, you need to warm up first...

    speedhut has an extra feed wire to keep connection all the time, so on start up there`s immediate signal.

    Usually they will try and find 2 or 3 synchro satellites before they begin to work.

    so your factory looking speedo is GPS? Who does that conversion?

    I have that GPS speedometer and it works great.  My 904 I am selling had the input area blocked so I bought one of these. The GPS antenna is located in the lower corner of the passenger side window.  Can't really see it.
