Okay
Thursday June 18th 2015

Only got 3 hrs in today because I had a nice visit with CC.com member Pimtao again....always a pleasure...
This past week I started assembling the car Monday afternoon and was able to get a pretty good start....
The complete fuel system is in, rear axle assembly and front suspension. Motor tranny, front grill etc...The underside is just about done, trunk and engine compartments are well under way...
Making some steady progress.

21 Days until Carlisle :woo:

psssh newb didn't even hook up the positive battery cable!

it looks really good Alan! Love the restoration threads you do. Does this car as an AAR require any special steps from a regular e-body? or no matter what model level they go back together the same?

The white plastic piece under the same tire is actually gray and it's actually the original jack hook. I installed the spare tire and jack as per the instruction decal.

After a while...all E Bodies assemble the same.

I'm not sure about other shops world wide, but in the last 12 years...I've done full ground up restorations on 18 E bodies....couple of A Bodies and even a B Body or two...

I can pretty much do them in my sleep... :roflsmiley:

For your restorations, do you replace the old electrical wire harnesses with new ones?
