:clueless:  bolts on passenger seat frame would need to be punched out and longer bolts to add 2 inches ? wood, metal, height to passenger seat.

Of course.   What is so hard about that?
I am new, but I am willing to learn.  Would I have to go to a special school or something?

My 70 Challenger also came with one..... it is absolutely terrific!    I found a one that was rough & needed repairs off ebay a while back and put it in my '74 Rallye.    They can get twisted a bit and don't want to slide.    I spent some time on her, cleaned it up and actually had to spot weld a new bottom plate on one side (rust).  It's not perfect, but you can't see it and it works!   I especially like the tilt function..... really helps my back on long trips.    I wouldn't go back to the straight seat unless I had to......

VT Mopar

I've got a bad back, who doesn't :)

i'm back in !!

Wanting one that is .. I'll just block the other up to match.

I'll block the front up in the meantime to give me some angle

I have 3 challenger convertibles.  My 70 Challenger convertible has the 6 way seat and I love it.  I keep it lubricated well and it operates well.  I especially like the tilt function.  It is comfortable to ride in.  I like it so much that I bought another frame to put into one of my other Challengers.

Anyone tried putting one on the passenger side too?  I know the controls would be on the wrong side but i think it might work okay.  :clueless:

You're right.  Might have to make some custom ones.  No problem!  FOR BRAD   :roflsmiley:  :woohoo:  :smilielol:

I'm sure I've seen them repopped just know your going to need them and if you have subframe connectors installed you will have to do some more fabrication. Especially with the US Cartool type.  :2cents:

Those are what I have for the drivers side.  Just not sure they would work on the passenger side.  :dunno:

Passenger side never came with a 6-way seat track.

You're right. But I'm going to see if I can fit one on the passenger and drivers side.  Why should the poor passenger be left all scrunched up.   :roflsmiley:

Here is a good read on the seat in the driver's position

Here are details on putting one in the non-available passenger position
