Hi Guys I can't seem to find my old threat but it's a simple question. Just wanted to make sure that for my electric choke carb install that I can grab power form the positive side of the coil? I had asked this already and thought " I will remember that" guess who forgot? anyone have a quick answer? I want to finish this up tonight.
on the left side of the ballast resistor you have the blue wire going to one terminal & there is a jumper to the second terminal so you want to tie into one of those wires , being colorblind & trying to do woiring would be rediculously tough , at least you are trying to make it go . Glad to help out
You should have a blue wire close to the carb if you are using the stock 74 engine harness. The factory choke thermostat has an electric assist. There is a blue power wire in the harness that runs across the passengers side valve cover. It should have a female spade terminal on it.
