Thought I would give you a quick update. Hooked up to the dyno and broke cam in and then went for lunch. Started doing pulls at 1PM and finished up and had the motor off the dyno by 6PM. I will post more info of build and hp/torque graph later but the long and the short of it is 605hp and 649 torque. I guess hp would have been more with a better intake as opposed to the 6 pack but my oh my she has torque! Still a little lean on The high end. Wound up with a 66 main on the centre carb (which is a little rich at this elevation- 3500 feet) and 81 jets in the outboards. Wahoo!

Torque numbers are more important than hp numbers! :woohoo:

People seem to 'buy HP', but 'drive torque' is how one of my friends puts it.

Looks like you got a nice motor badfish.

If that's the same Allyn Lee that build's some pretty stout Super/Stock engines from up north , you'll be in good hands. They know how to make some power..

Engine finally at the shop, old motor out and sold. Installing Caltracs, sub frame connectors, cleaning up engine bay and K-frame and detailing, new insulation under the carpet, fixing some window issues, new tach, new 10.95 inch super street pro Mcleod clutch, TTI 1 7/8 headers with Doug's electric cut outs,  suspension bushing kit, black steelies with new tires...don't know what tires yet but looking at Nitto or Hoosier. And whatever else comes up....can't wait to drive this Motha! Gonna be a whole different car... :bananasmi

Not sure where the engine builder got them. He showed them to me some time ago and I liked them and said use them...he did say they were available in brushed or a polished version. I believe 440 source sells something similar or these may have come from them :dunno:

I haven't updated in a while guys - work on going but just not work on the car  :banghead:
