    Bolt size for large center bolt of crank pulley.

    Hi guys

    I need to turn my engine over and need the crank pulley bolt size for a 74 318 engine. Anyone know it? I need to pick up a socket today.

    I can tell you this, my 1970 318 is a 1 1/4, I just came in from the garage checking it with my socket.

    That makes sense I have a 1 1/16 and it's too small and a 1.5 that's too large.

    The factory bolt is always 1.25 " / 1 1/4"
    if you use a non factory bolt the bolt head is smaller
