346 Heads?
« on: June 15, 2015 - 05:39:38 PM »
I planned on finding a pair of 906 heads but I have a set of 346 heads.    from what I can find there isn't any real difference besides a bad attempt at heard seats.

Is there any reason not to use them?

aluminum 440 Source heads are cheap
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Yeah, but I'm an originality freak .  I can live with it not being original but it has to look original.

346 heads are decent but do not have the same intake port so not as good as 906 , better yet is a set of 516 or 915 closed chambers or Stealth alum heads , all look the same from the outside

I had ported 915s, and still don't think they could match the Stealths
