Long Overdue UK Newbie Introduction!
« on: June 18, 2015 - 04:55:13 PM »
Hi Everyone, I've been a member here since last year and decided it was time to introduce myself!

I'm a long-time Mopar fan from the UK, and am currently enjoying my second E-Body. First was a 70 Challenger 440 RT/SE, now have a stock 70 Cuda 440-6 Pack. Car doesn't need much, just a few items need detailing. I'm amazed how much useful knowledge is available on this site and have lost count of the times I've found an answer to a question just by using the search facility!

I hope to contribute as time goes on and look forward to chatting to you guys!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I've wanted a Cuda ever since riding to the pub in my mates 70 Hemi Cuda Convertible back in the 80's. (The Plum Crazy/white interior car now owned by Craig Jackson of Barrett-Jackson fame). It's taken a while to find the right car but I finally got there.

Rallye Red was my 1st choice paint color, and although at first I wasn't sure about the red interior, it's grown on me now and I love it.

It just fits in my garage and I'm real jealous of you guys with huge garage/workshops!

We were at the Pod back in 2011, great times and a tone of Mopars, I saw quite a few cudas, and sat in one that was gold 71 340 4 speed, convertible, stunning car, maybe we can meet up next year we are planning on attending again, next year for the Euronats  it was such a memorable time,we have to go back   ,cheers

Welcome to the site and don't feel too much envy about garages, because you've got the car that the owner of even the biggest garage, would kill to have. For our American friends old enough to remember, forgive me if I ask if your Dad's first name was Sergeant, LOL . Old tv show if you haven't already twigged to it.
