What is this caliper from?
« on: June 19, 2015 - 10:01:28 AM »
Does anyone recognize the caliper on the left?  It came off my 71 Barracuda.  The one on the right is what I ordered as a replacement.

The one on the left is not original, but I need to replace it.

Hummm.  The one on the right is supposed to be for a 70-72 Baracuda per Summit.   :dunno:

I did the conversion over 20 years ago and luckly saved the boxes for the new calipers.  Having no luck with internet searches..... :chatting:

Mystery solved.  Summit has 2 types for a 71 Barracuda.  I picked the wrong one.   :banghead:

the left one is the factory pin type used in 70-71
the right one is the wrong one , it is a slider caliper from a later year Mirada . 5th ave , Aspen. Volare & connects with the banjo bolt .
Try Rock Auto maybe , probably better pricing
