At the time when I received the hood from year one, they said I would have to pay to send it back to them before they did anything, at that point I figured that it was a wash, plus who knows how long it would take to get another one. The crack isn't huge just annoying more than anything else. I'll send some pictures later.

I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

Check this site out. http://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/index.html

They don't make a bolt-on. I don't think USbodysource does either.

Well, I ordered my AAR hood Monday from Year One but they still have not called me about scheduling shipping. ugh..., At the same time I ordered new inner fenders and the trunk floor kit, that should finish up my body parts. :) I already got my inner fenders but other stuff must be coming in slowly.

Year one just bumped the price of the AAR hood up to 699, day after I ordered it. whew!

Delivery service never called, but it did show up yesterday but not without issues. The hood looks great, but one of the straps broke in the box and allowed the hood to move during transport, the passenger side corner near the window got chipped. Not too bad, it is fixable and I am not willing to take a risk of getting a new one and something worse happening to it. They should put some kind of protection in the boxes, spend a dollar for corner padding. I never understand why people go so cheap on packaging for such an expensive product.  :swear:

All in all, I am happy with the new hood, looks like a quality piece.

Now that's in, I am taking it down to the body shop to straighten out the frame, then onto the inner fenders... etc, etc... can you tell it is a new project. Owned for 10+ years, garaged and now have the cash to work on it... MOPARS are not cheap, or maybe I am just picky. :swaying:
