I am enteraining a few options on my drive train for my 72 cuda restro mod .. I am seriously looking at and gathering as much info on a cuda/viper, but I haven't found any encouraging info about viper drive train in ebody's.. I would love to hear everyone's feed back on this topic..

Your car looks like it is freshly painted. To fit the motor and teams you would need to cut the firewall and transmission hump to open it up. There will also be transmission crossmember interference with the t56 transmission. I think you also will run into clearance issues with the exhaust to steering. I was considering doing this swap at one point but unless you want the wow factor all the work is probably not worth it. I myself went the 3G hemi route. If you search the net you can find many examples of viper drivetrains in e body's done many different ways but it will be by no means direct fit.

Viper ebody has certainly been done before. Benefits, besides cool factor of a v10, are fairly negligible compared to a 3G Hemi. You can make one of those hemis do just about whatever you want.

I read an article following a guy who had built a viper powered cuda, said he had to move the whole firewall back 6 inches, the motor is just so stinking long
