Old to me but new to you.
« on: May 21, 2005 - 11:19:00 PM »
I was cruzin town one night when Joe cool and his new 5.0 GT came beside me. Now this guy obviously knew nothing about cars because there was no hiding the cam in mine yet he pested me for a few blocks until I gave in. We came to a red light and I said lets go. The light turned green and I let him have the jump. When he thought he was winning I came up beside him and yelled "Are we racin or what!" Then I kicked that 340 in the butt and dust him BIG TIME! After that he wouldn't pull up next to me or even look at me. Class dismissed. Don't mess with the Cuda! :burnout:

That's awesome. But let us talk about defeats once in awhile too. One time,..and I'll never forget it...I was just cruzin around 30 or 40. And then this Corvette pulls up. along side of me. Well I know I can get his 350 A/T. But, i found out the hard way...he must've had nitrous, roller cam and who knows what else. All I saw was tailpipes and rear end.. It must've been the most hurtin defeat I ever had. I was so sure I could beat him.
If you don't lose once in a while,... you can never improve to beat the next level.

Yes, Ret Cuda, winning is everything. But there will come a day that you will get tailpipitis.Until then, keep teaching them. :spank:

Don't get me wrong, I've lost already, but only 4 times, and I was way out classed. ( 68 camaro, 69 big block firebird, 71 boss 351, 80 Z28 and this one is only because I blew 2nd gear out of my trans :pissed:)
