All good, I have a new car hobby these days,  I rarely do car shows anymore but I try to go for drives with friends whenever I can... Honestly it's way more fun...
When you take your wife and kids Good guys admission to me seems to be a little high just to look at cars plus parking, food and snacks.
We haven't had a car to cruise with for a long time, probably will be going to smaller cruises, we just went to Livermore altamont cruiser show last Saturday afternoon.
One big show we try to go to is Pismo beach, great show and location. We have had the best time going highway 1 along the coast stopping as we please, enjoying the views.

We live close to Brentwood, more like Far East county.

welcome,

Do you ever remember the Livermore cruise nights before the cops busted it up?

Yes we do! We did cruise in Livermore (I think it was first street) when Fremont was slow. We would leave Fremont and go through niles canyon to get there. My wife (girlfriend then) and I have great memories of those days! I don't know why really they closed it down, pretty much at that time everywhere in the Bay Area people were cruising and traffic was real bad, but that was part of the fun!We live close to Brentwood, more like Far East county.

I stopped cruising Livermore when a Cop hit my quarter panel with his Belly club telling me to getta along lil doggie!

Love Highway 1, Unfortunately it's a two hour to or from Highway 1 for me... Occasionally I take our group over in that direction, everyone loves the coast.. But it's committing to the drive over & back that's hard... We can be in the foothills in 45 minutes...

I've heard good things about the Pismo show, theres also shows in Cambria, Morro Bay & SLO...  Plus Monterey has Cherries Jubilee... Theres also a Mopar specific show in Monterey which I believe is now out on Fishermans Wharf...   The other cool deal is a group drives down Highway ! to CPW's Spring Fling show in Van Nuys every year..

There's plenty of cruises close to you every week. Concord has one at Baha fresh Sun valley mall every friday , Martinez also has one  down town every friday and Pittzburg every other thursday at the marina. Also the Blackhawk musium has a cruise in on the first sunday of every month, you will see every exotic and hi dollar car ever made there. At least 400 cars show up.

Going to look into the spring fling thing, sounds good. Have some bugs and tweaks to do to the car first before we go. Thanks again Jim

Thanks for the show info, as soon as I go through this car with a couple of things we will definitely check these out. One thing is this car has a 6 pack and it's not running quite right for me, debating whether to just go to a 4 barrel, but that's a little latter. Thanks again Jim

Scott, You lived where I would like to retire! Discovered Pismo when a cousin married there on the beach 2006. It's changing a bit there with a lot of the smaller houses being bought up and replaced with 3 story homes and condo's. Between highway 1 and Price St. along Wadsworth that whole block was demoed and is currently being built with new homes. Attached some pics of this summers show from the intersection of Pomeroy and Price St., these pics only show a partial of the show size, also pics from where we stay at the sandcastle inn, love being right on the beach and a short walking distance to the show.
Take care Jim

Thanks Cudamadd, I picked up a 57 in 1989. Hopefully I'll start on it when the cuda gets done! Are they ever done? Maybe the 57 just needs a couple of things done, a little clean up and some rubbing compound! Thanks Jim
