The additional pictures will help for some additional input. What is the seller asking for the car? You may be able to use the areas needing attention to negotiate a more favorable price where both of you are satisfied. I did see on the rear valance where it has a very poor fit to the quarter panel. May just need tweaked or an indicator of rear collision damage.

Have the lower quarters been replaced/repaired, hence the grey primer? The engine bay and the underside actually do look above average for an original car, so that would be plus.

Use all these as negotiating tools, yes the seller knows about them and may be inclined to meet you part way.

Keep us tuned in on how it goes!

Thanks for the input guys, I'm thinking high teens now. The rear valance concerns me as well as an area in the engine bay that looks tweeked also There are a few dings as well, one on the front quarter driver side. Yes, the rear quarters had some rust issues, seller said he had it professionally repaired. Seller said all gauges work and floor and trunk pans are all good. Thanks again, any other observances would be welcomed as well.

Pricing parts, new rear valance isn't too pricey. What do you guys think, Dash pad, Dash Pad with steel core, or Dash Cap. Would a dash cap suffice in this situation. Thanks

If you are going to spend the money, get a steel core dash pad. I forget the company, but supposed to be one in Texas, and the quality is ranked very good too. They will want yours for a core. When you do it, take off your vin, get some of the correct rivets and reattach when you get the new one.
