Mancini racing camber shims?

Anyone using these? Obviously they're just washers but I can't seem to find much use of such a "trick" to gain a degree or so negative camber. 

Seems like a cheap way to get more contact patch on the ground for those who like to steer vs. Go in a straight line.

I have never used them but I see no reason why they would not help although for $2 you should be able to get a handful of washers !!

Yea....local hardware store jus grab some grade 8 washers for 2$ would be my route.

I don't think many...if anyone daily drives their mopar here so the treadwear isn't much of a deterrent.

Typically you can dial in enough negative camber to eat a set of tire with the stock adjustments, why add more?  It's caster our cars so desperately need...

I'm looking at more of an autocross aspect where higher speed stability isn't as much of an issue.

Race application 1.5 iNegative s typical 2.0 is pretty aggressive... As mentioned $2 worth of washers will do the same thing...

Cool....jus seeing if anyone has tried/failed this option. I come from a Mustang background we're pretty much everything has been tried done and overdone and redone twice.

looks like a standard/common Extra Thick SAE Washer  to me?  On Mopar circle track cars I've used/seen them used but not on a street car.

Its another tool in juggling the caster/camber compromise.

They are hardened, so they aren't plain hardware store washers, but you can get them from Mac-Carr for less.

Mopar guys are finally figuring out some of the stuff Mustang guys have been doing for a decade or more.

Lol....that's kinda what I was thinking but didn't want to offend any purist.

I have no brand loyalty. ....i drive a chevy truck.....race a ford mustang....wife drives a nissan.

Shimming the lower ball joint isn't new...   Keep in mind shimming at that point changes more than just camber, it effects SIA....

In a race application SAI isn't to critical, it relates to tire wear, steering effort & self centering, none of which are serious concerns for a race application..

BTW if anyone caught it yes the first time I posted SIA but SAI is correct...
