Ideas for seats? Center console?

I'm planning on replacing the stock seats from whatever Challenger I end up buying for my resto mod project, and I'm looking for ideas on what to get. I have heard that the Recaro Ergomed ES seats are great and I like the look of them, only problem is they are very expensive. I want something that looks a bit like the original seats but has modern comfort and support and all that. I would LOVE to get the seats out of an '09-'12 Challenger, if that is possible?

I've also seen people put in aftermarket center consoles with cupholders and storage compartment? Where could I find that? It'd be nice from a convenience standpoint.

New chally seats are possible, but u would have to make new floor pans, check out Hyundai Tiburon GT Seats, the look sweet, super comfortable and affordable.

Seats that fit are tricky, the distance between the floor and steering wheel prevents many nice looking/comfortable seats from being used.

Ooh yes I like those Tiburon seats, think I could get them recovered to look like the old seats (but with microfibre cloth instead of vinyl or leather)?

I'd REALLY like to use new Challenger seats, after getting to drive a 2015 model. How hard would that be? Would I just need new seat brackets, or would it require floor pan surgery?

I've thought about upgraded seats with resto mod in mind. But every time I look at the stock seats I love the way they look. The problem is they are A. Vinyl and B. no side bolsters.  So if you could by the leather covers from Legendary and get a shop to maybe ad some side bolstering in the foam that would be my choice.

Would the leather covers handle the extra volume on the sides if the foam was modified?

I thought i saw it done on one of those build shows. They added some extra foam and then stretched the leather I think . Not 100% sure

Looked through your post on the tiburon seats, very nice, Did you have a problem with the seat belt retractor hitting the seat track? How did you overcome this? I would love to know since my seats hit now and I would love more leg room.
