What do the fasteners/screws look like for the S/E tail panel , correct paint?

 I broke the rules with my SE panel , even though my car is an SE originally it was missing when I bought hte car , at the time they were still available new from Mopar but I waited too long being broke & missed getting an NOS one , I did find a decent one eventually & out it on the car when I restored it 5 years ago  but I thought it looked better painted black instead of silver , so mine is painted with SEM Trim Black right now , it is wrong but hey it is my car

I have spoke with Tom at RT specialties. He says the clip kit is no longer available for mounting the tail panel trim. Didn't know when they would be made again.

Can someone help come up with something to mount mine,,,,,I have it semi attached now but have no clips for the lower portion,,,,

Hey, just a couple pics of mine, like I said I have no holes on the lower section but I used the side clips, screws along the top and then I used the lock on the outside of the panel with a door lock plastic washer. it is very secure and is just an option if you cannot locate the clips.

Mine is drilled out for the holes along the bottom edge of the tail panel trim,,,so i would like to find some clips that would work so it doesn't 'flat" or vibrate,,,
Hopefully i can find something generic that will work,,,
I didn't realize the lock cylinder sat recessed in the trim piece,,,,,
that is pretty trick how you mounted yours on the outside,,,,looks good,,,,,

but no picture online of what that set looks like, and when I called the tel number for more info the guy could not give me much help, couldn't/wouldn't make any pics to send to me, basically said to buy the set, and if not correct, you can return for full refund,

No need for expensive clips, just drill holes in it and use wood screws, like mine! 


I need to fix that somehow, then I was thinking of painting it black, but Brad's looks great also.

               Really curious what the problem is with Jim's.    We have ordered parts from them over the past 2 years of the build, never had a problem. Could you possibly clue us all in just in case were missing something.
