There is also the issue of legally using this fuel-injected car on the street. Is a '70 Challenger a pre-pollution control vehicle? If I swap the engine that was previously in it for the 440, does it make it legal? I'm going by what I saw on Holley and Edelbrock's website

If you apply certain laws to the letter of the law vs the intent of the law you wouldn't be able to replace the wiper blades.. Never mind about custom stuff... What state do you live in? Cause I live in California, about as wacked as anywhere in the nation & I know of quite a few injected Hotrods & Muscle cars... Don't know of anyone getting hassled... Seriously sure it isn't stock but whats coming out the tailpipe is way cleaner than a carbed engine...

Easiest way to get that Pro-flo XT setup running is with the FAST EZ-EFI version 1 multiport kit. Less that $850, self tuning and doesn't control your timing.
Use a stock vacuum advance electronic distributor, (if it fits with that manifold).

I use a fuel pump on my frame rail and never let it get below 4 gallons.

Quickest way to get EFI and up and running.

Put rallye hood on,  the intake manifold and throttle body cleared by 1.25 inches.

Ooh, just barely made it! Glad to know it'll fit though, the Rallye hood is my favorite and what I planned on using
