I usually go to Belvidere every year. I saw that there was a show in Milwaukee too. I went to Road America in Elkhart Lake Wi to watch Vintage Car Racing. I took my Cuda. I cannot beleive the amount of attention I got all weekend!!! I had the ONLY Cuda there. I drove into town Friday just before the race car parade from the track to the town, and the streets were lined with a thousand people. And people were not shy saying they like my car. I got a bit anxious with all that attention. The best part is that I was able to drive my car around the infield of the track to watch racing action in every corner. The actual race cars were incredible and awesome!! I will not miss this event ever again. It is way more dynamic driving around and watching famous cars at speed and in motion. I hate to say that it ruined me to want to sit in the sun and watch the same old cars sitting in the grass while I sweat and nobody wants to talk cars since everybody is an expert in their own right. Next year I will do the lunch time street car cruise on the track. And I will sign up for the street car show on saturday night in down town Elkhart Lake. I saw porsche 908, 917,918 and others, ferrari everything, McClaren old and new, Chapparel, Lola, Gt40s, Lotus, vintage T/A cars, and crazy stuff I have never seen or heard of. I saw two other e-body challengers that were bone stock.
Is there any way to make a car show fun? Where we get to drive or see the cars move?
