Defroster parts needed
« on: July 14, 2015 - 07:44:17 AM »
Hi guys I need my defroster working to get the my car registered, it appears to be missing a piece underneath the dash leaving a large square hole and all the heat comes out there, i think the piece missing is called the Air Distribution Housing or at least the outlet portion of the Air Distribution Housing.

I attached a picture, the part missing has red arrows and what it currently looks like is circled green. Not sure if i cant find it for sale because its called something else?
Maybe i can just block it up and then my defroster will work?

Cheers

A lot of people have removed that old A/C from there cars so you might get lucky. Unfortunately that piece usually stays attached to the box unless you can find someone willing to separate it.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

here is a pic of the back side. I'll never use it again so it will just be sitting in a box up in my shed. If you decide that's the part you need you can have it. I have no idea what it might cost to ship it to Australia. If its cheap I'll send it to you. If its a lot I'll let you know and you can chip in.
