Randy

Sounds really good, no problems with decelleration and rattle eh?

I wonder if this is a hit or miss problem?

Thanks again for the sound clip,
Bryan

I'm using their 18 inch polished, 3in inlet and dual 2.5 outlets, factory muffler-back pipes, resonators, and tips. I have had it on for 1500 miles so far, no rattle, nice mellow tone at idle and cruising, sounds awesome when u stab some meat in the throttle.  Factory resonators make all the difference in keeping the drone under control when the MDS kicks in and drops to 4cyl

I've been going back and forth on this issue for the last few days.  Listening to all the Youtube exhaust clips, the 18" Magnaflow sounds the best to me.  I'm really worried about the MDS sound though.  Without the radio on, I can hear the MDS with the stock exhaust.  I can't make myself pull the trigger.

I took some videos of my exhaust yesterday to do a comparison if I decide to put a different muffler on.  I was shocked at how quiet the stock exhaust it.  It's actually louder inside the truck then it is on the outside.  I can't make up my mind.

I don't have VT's Bryan. That is the sound of the Ultraflow Welded mufflers. not chambered, not valved. One step up in the loudness according to the website. They are not quiet. I do love the sound but maybe a little louder inside that I would like on a long cruise. Thinking about adding small round glass packs in front of the tips where the stock mufflers would be. May be quieter in a hard top though...

Here are a couple videos.
For some reason, she's is blowing white smoke (wasn't that bad before) but will at least give an idea of how the magnaflows sound behind my 440.

Did you go with 2.5 or 3 inch pipes?  I seem to remember reading somewhere that 3 inch would be a benefit once you are up over 650hp.

2.5" for now, may see what changes I might make before going 3"

Also thinking about using square tube in the future!
